I am sad to see this end, I am sure that it is sort of a relief for you though. How do you feel about everything? Did you learn anything along the way? Has your playing become noticeably better? Can you share any kind of insight for us that might be considering something like this? I really appreciate you sharing this journey with us.
Thanks, it is a relief. I noticed some things improved a long the way ( most notably pick accuracy). I also noticed some things I tend to fall back on and some areas where I need to work with the metronome to improve. In the moment of playing these things weren't so noticeable but when going back and listening again while editing things like tempo drifts, etc were more noticeable. The typical "mistakes" that seemed so glaring while playing were almost non-existent on playback but things I didn't even consider were.
If you are thinking of doing something like that I'd say jump in and do it. All it is going to cost you is time and the payoff of being able to identify hidden problems in your playing is worth it.
A cool idea. Congrats on seeing it through and thank you for sharing. Some very instructive viewing and listening for a new player like myself.
Thanks. Keep working at it and you'll get the music flowing in no time.
