The 100 100 Challenge Weekly Video

Hi Guys,

Recently I set myself the challenge of improvising a tune every day for 100 days. I post the videos on youtube daily and each week I compile the tunes into a longer full week video with no talking, only playing. Feel free to join in the challenge and post your results. The rules are simple: think of or draw a title you make, think for a minute or so, improvise a tune. No edits, no redos, no cut splice, no punching in. Just play until the idea is complete, you get into a spot you can't get into, or you get interrupted (my dog is notorious for this). I'll be posting my weekly vids in this thread so you can cop licks etc if you want.

Working on the new weekly video and will get it posted tonight. Should I only put the weekly vids with only music or also link the daily vids that have some talking as well?

As promised, week 2 of the improvised tunes is up. Some, such as Elephants, had song ending flubs but I did really like some of them. Blue Orchid is kind of a psuedo-waltz, Sparrows in the Yard is lovely, That cat ain't right has a heavy Dawg influence, but my favorite of the batch is Blue and Cold, a Monroe-Compton style dirge-like blues.
