    Default Double Stop workshop

    Hey all

I forgot to post this up here - but I'm hosting a free virtual workshop on Double Stops on this Sunday 10/16 at 10am PST. You can register here https://mattcbruno.com/mandolin-workshop/

The workshop will cover basic techniques for double stops including what double stops are, basic shapes, how to use them with examples and exercises. You get a PDF of all the exercises when you register. All in, it'll likely be about an hour.

    Happy pickin!

That was a great workshop, thanks a ton! It's a lot of info, but nice and clear and useful. It will take quite some time to digest for this beginner, but it will be excellent practice for me. Thanks again.

It definitely was a worthwhile workshop. Matt has a talent for making complicated concepts clear. His stepwise excercises are great: start here, then next do this, and then after that put them together like so, then this is how you can use it in a few tunes.

I'm looking for ways to bridge the gap between beginner and intermediate, and Matt's offering some of the puzzle pieces

I really enjoyed the workshop. I came away with a few things that I can use right away, and some stuff to add to my practice routine.

Glad you all enjoyed the workshop The next one will be live at the South State 48 and will cover "Playing to the Chords: What to play when you don't know the song". I'll likely do a Zoom workshop too for those that can't make the festival
