Yeah, they're all great. Especially the green one, though.

I might like an amber or golden color, even a sunburst. Is that possible?

Billy,
There are some yellow, orange, and tan Kevlar options. At some point, I might try tinting over the Kevlar/Carbon twill ... I love a beautiful sunburst too.

Hi Steve!
I dunno, call me old-fashioned but I can’t get used to green, blue, whatever colored Instruments.
I understand you are a pioneer charting new universes, and I applaud that. I’m eager to get a hands on one of your new creations!

Steve, what kind of truss rod do you use (mono or bi directional, or something else)?

Very nice! It can be very helpful to be able to add or reduce relief as desired.

After owning and playing a Sorensen VX for an extended period, and after an lengthy exchange with Steve (the man has the patience of a saint), I bit the bullet and ordered one of these.. Burgundy. Late fall or early winter. Played dozens if not a hundred or more traditional builds for 50 years.. still own three, (plus the VX). Decided it's time to try something different while my fingers still work and I'm still sucking air.. When it comes to breaking down boundaries and building something innovative, but beautiful.. Steve is talented and fearless.
Liam Purcell gives a really interesting introduction and comparison of his new Kevlar/Carbon Sprite to his nine-year-old wood Sorensen Sprite --

Thanks! I really like the way Liam took the time to introduce both his Spruce and Maple Sprite and then the Kevlar/Carbon Sprite.
Nice to have the recording clean and simple and outdoors in a real-world setting.
By the way, his band's web site is HERE!
