    I wonder how many were made? Not many, I’d bet. When Hans posted pictures of the first one, I found his number in Mpls, called him up and congratulated him. I was stunned. Still am.

    I seem to remember that Trevor at TAMCO had one (if not more) in stock several years ago but I never got to play one.

    It’s the same one, Jim. Someone changed the tuners, but I think he only made handful of those.

    That was originally mine.

    Hans built some amazing looking and sounding mandos. Love my 23V with an Italian top.

    Looking at the website Jim posted, I didn't realize Hans built Griffith Loar copies. I wonder how many of them are out there. Would love to play one of those.

    I believe there was one true Griffin copy. He did however build some larger-bodied A5 style mandolins.
