Gotta admit, you're right. I aint never seen a mandolin looked like ... that. Can't see it at all. It's danged invisible!

Now, then, if you're on a computer, just copy the url and paste it. The app will take it from there. If you're on a phone, not so sure what to do. Oh wait, here - tap on the image. You should get some options below, one of which is "share." Tap on that. The first option you get is "copy link." Tap on that - puts the link on your clipboard. Come over here, open a pane ("reply to thread"), paste the link, and save. Voila!

But if you can type in the name of the clip, or any other pertinent fairly unique info, please do so. We're pretty good at sorting stuff out, but you gotta give us something to work with.

    This is my comment.
Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."

You make it much too difficult, learn how to post a link. It's not that hard.

See? That wasn't so hard. You could have done that in the first place - say how to find the video - instead of ... well, I don't even know what.

I'm with Charley. If you have something to discuss, post it; if you don't know how, then figure it out first. Expecting others to A) figure out what you want to do, and B) do it for you, is pretty g-d rude.

OK, now I got that off my chest, that is one heck of a cool instrument. And as a matter of fact, I've never seen a mandolin like this. It truly is one of a kind..

Well, shucks, it's always nice to see & hear David Harvey talking about old Gibsons. But as for production value on the video — he shows the guys three photos and we don't get to see any of them.

There are of course the Gibson "Century of Progress" mandolins bedecked in pearloid, but as far as I know there were no Century of Progress F styles, just A styles.

Is it necessary to have two threads dedicated to this, especially if neither has an establishing post from the same OP setting the premise?

If you need help sorting out how to post a video, I'd suggest you tell us what the problem is in the current thread and we'll try to help. No need to start another thread, though, IMO.

Also, the title says Evaluation and nobody talks about the mandolin's value. Grr. Get off my lawn.
