Northfiled Ox stand for guitar?

I use a Northfield Ox for my mando and love it. Now that they're making a larger version suitable for acoustic guitars I'd be grateful for feedback from anyone who has tried one.

(My guitars are 00 and OM sizes.)

Do you have yours sitting on a hard surface or carpet? I have been interested in the stand for the beautiful look of it, but my music room is carpeted and I'm not sure how sturdy it might be.

Good point, Drew: Mine is on hardwood floor. I'd be inclined to continue to use my Hercules guitar stand(s) on carpet. They have three points of contact and a backward tilt.

I love the Hercules stands. I have some of the single stands for guitar and mandolin and a rack for my electric instruments.
