When you get to this screen



Click the "Choose File" button. You should then get a screen showing the available shortcuts on your desktop, one of which should be a shortcut to your image. Double click the shortcut to your image:



This will take you back to the first window and this time your file will be there:



Now click the "Upload file" button (doesn't look like a button, only looks like text, but click it):



This should result in a bracketed code in the message you are typing



but if you click on the "Preview Post" button below you'll wee what the message looks like with the image.

At the first step, when I clicked "choose file", it didn't give me the shortcuts, it gave me a file list.
I had to move the shortcut to the file list. When I clicked the file list, all I got was the code of the file, no image.
When I clicked upload file. Nothing happened. Are you working on a Windows machine or an Apple machine? I get the feeling that I am getting close but being diverted by the system.

I've done it on a Mac and on a PC -- both perform as I outlined. So, I don't know what is happening with your machine/settings. Sorry.
