Received cd today. Listened to it three times now. More Blue Grass than I would prefer as I had anticipated when I ordered it a month ago.
The pick'n is phenomenal and though too grassy for my personal tastes, there is no denying talent.
So not just for bluegrass aficionados, but for anyone that loves string pick'n, I recommend giving it a listen.

I'm listening to it right now, and finding it very enjoyable. I saw Billy Strings play in the summer of '21, and liked it very much, but wished I could hear his music more, well, stripped down, maybe. I think this is what I wanted to hear. And the family aspect is really cool.

Haven't listened to the new album yet, but saw Billy in Richmond on Wednesday and in Fairfax last night. Just phenomenal both nights.

I fully anticipated this to be a bluegrass album.

Wish my son had someone this talented to teach him how to play when he was young.

Love that video. Can you imagine being local bluegrass guitar picker guy, your son turns out be the second coming of Tony Rice and Jerry Garcia mixed together, and then next thing you know, you're recording an album in Nashville with Del McCoury's band?

    Amazing.

If you like that album, you'll love this video. It was only two years ago, but Terry Barber's voice was much stronger. The father-son connection was in full bloom as always. No Ronnie, though.
