    Default South Central PA players/teachers

Hi. I live in Gettysburg Pennsylvania and am looking for a local teacher and local players. There used to be a long running bluegrass jam here in Gettysburg, but as far as I know it is no more. Where did everyone who used to attend this jam go? I've only been "playing" for 2 months. There's plenty of stuff on the next for people at my level. Problem is I really need someone to critique and help me straighten out my posture and technique. I feel kinda stupid even SAYING my technique because I don't actually have one yet. I'm just worried about learning these bad habits everyone is always talking about. Any and all info appreciated.

There are a lot of good players down your way, as well as a few jams in the region. Two good resources are the Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association and Susquehanna Folk Music Society.
