Default Washburn Model ‘23-‘24 Style F(?) questions

Hey folks, first post. Be gentle! I bought a fixer-upper recently and I’m wondering if anyone can date it and maybe confirm that the tailpiece is original (or not, I suspect the former). It’s a two point with a scallop-shaped tail piece serial number 25796.

Welcome to the insanity! I'm no expert, but I think the serial number and label put it somewhere between 1923 and 1925. The tailpiece may be original, but it may have had a crown shaped cover similar to this one:

    Hopefully some experts will respond.

I would suggest getting a copy of Hubert Pleijsier's book Washburn Prewar Instrument Styles. It's a great resource and where I found this info.
