Default New John Lawlor signature model tenor guitar from Craven

Just came across this, I have not heard of the company before but it looks like they are in the archtop tenor building business.

It looks fantastic in Johns hands but I cant really say if it sounds any better than his hacksaw guitar?

I got a burgundy one. Still putting it through the paces. Purchased for my wife who plays tenor on some of our original songs. These come shipped with strings set to DGBE, and my wife plays tenor CGDA, so had to put together a set that works on that scale length. There are a few sets that Eastwood puts out for their Warren Ellis models, which i also have. The tension is pretty tight, but the neck is straight, and it plays well. My wife comes back from a trip this weekend and will give it a go. I will say there are not many, if any , archtop tenors new within this price range. The older ones from way back when are pretty expensive. It looks slick for sure. If she doesnt get along with it i will probably restring for GDAE, and give it a whirl.
    Its not a backwards guitar.

They are imported to Canada, then shipped out.

    Hi Freddyfingers,
How are you finding the guitar?
I am considering one as a first tenor.
    Thanks!
