    Default Bach: “Frohe Hirten, eilt, ach eilet” from Christmas Oratorio

    I recently arranged and recorded some pieces from Bach's Christmas Oratorio. Here is the version of “Frohe Hirten, eilt, ach eilet” (Happy shepherds, hurry, ah hurry) No. 15 (BWV248)

    If I could only listen to one composer/genre for the rest of my life I would choose Bach. Nicely done!

    Yes, it's like one violinist said that if he had to choose one piece for a lonely island, it would be Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for Violin. It should also be suitable for mandolin players...

    Vielen Dank! Thank you! Ornaments have an important place in the sound of baroque music, so I work quite a lot on this element. I'm glad you like it!
