Default 50 Minuets by John Goodin download

I have found a download offered here of John Goodin’s 50 Minuets.

Of course it is in standard notation.
I would love to learn everything from this pdf but I need it in tabs

Would anyone consider converting it to tabs for me. I would pay for the work.

If you can learn by ear you can download at least 19 of them as mp3s here: https://johngoodin.bandcamp.com/albu...mandolins-1728

Mel Bay has a Telemann book with tab as well as standard notation. It has lots of the menuets as well as some other material.

I think that is John’s book also and I believe it has the same duets but with TAB

A bit off Wayne’s request, but another possibility is to have a go at learning standard notation. They say good things about the book “Standard Notation for the Tab-Addicted Mandolinist”. It seems to be available from the author’s web site. NFI.

I am working on it but it is going slowly. In the meantime I want to play so for now tabs allow me to do just that. I am fond of classical music and the minuets in this download are a fantastic introduction to classical music for the Mandolin. I wish that this download would have been made into a book. I thank John for offering up the download. If only I could use it.

I would suggest just trying to learn a little of the standard notation as well. Tab is great, but there are times when the standard notation is all you have and it can be easier than you think. I use tab a lot, but the standard notation I like because i find it easier to see the timing/value of the notes compared to tab. Plus, it helps learn the notes on the fretboard. My 2 cents. Thanks for the reminder about John’s minuets!
