    Nice sound! The french style is coming through quite well, especially on the violin part.

    Beautiful playing,sweet tune. It does have that French musette / Italian ballo liscio feel.

    That is a style I am very drawn to, reminiscent of Mary Lea the Boston area fiddler, Peter Barnes author of "A Little Couple Dance Music" was very involved in those recordings.
    David Grisman's music for the film Capone and Joe Weed's Waltz of the Whippoorwill, come to mind, Ostroushko and the Blakes venture into this territory often.
    I imagine parlor music in pre-radio Europe and America to be very much akin to this.
    A good old fashioned waltz being hard to find these days.
