    Default 1938 Embergher N.2?

    Hi, all!

I just registered to ask for some help ID'ing a mandolino my father owns since early 1990's. It has been in its case for decades unopened in storage at home.

Is this an Embergher mandolino per orchestra Mod. N.2?
What would its value be? I think my father would sell it if he finds the value tempting.

    Thanks.

That sure looks like one and with a non-original tailpiece. Value would be partially dependent on where you are/where you sell it.

    Thank you for replying, Jim.

We live in Portugal. We will probably put it on Ebay.
Would the Classifieds here at Mandolin Cafe be a good option too? Or the mandolin being located in Europe is a big con?
    Any other website/forum?

Based on the pictures I posted, how much could this one sell for?

No, don't. That is not allowed.

But you can post it in the Classifieds and on eBay simultaneously.
