    Default NMD Arrow 'Manouche'

Went up to a 'local' jam Sunday (85 miles away) and picked this guy up from Paul Lestock of Arrow Guitars and Mandolins. It's a custom bodied, long scale (15") instrument meant to evoke a gypsy style guitar. Paul and I discussed this last summer and here we are. It has an Englemann top, curly maple the rest of the way around, k&k internally mounted with a tapastring jack. Set up for light gauge strings with low action.

It's loud and clear, different than my f hole or stylized G model sound holes.

It'll be a few weeks. We workshop 3 tunes a week and we're working in the 'I' section. that means I haven't played it in about a year

That’s a beauty. A friend of mine has one of his jazz model five strings, It’s a beauty. I like the petit bouche look and I bet it sounds great. And perfect timing for Django’s birthday.

Yes, my small hand has no problem. Makes for a very powerful instrument.
