Anyone know of a pro mandolinist who plays a Monteleone? I can't think of any.

Eastman MD315 Mandolin
Ethan Setiawan has been playing one recently.
There’s also this previous thread about Monte players:

Mike Marshall on his Monteleone mandocello. Mike Sassano is an excellent mandolinist in Out To Lunch and he plays what I consider to be one of the best mandolins on earth, a Baby Grand.

Phil Rosenthal was a Monte player. Grisham plays them, owns quite a few or did.
Lou Martin, who used to play with Country Cooking and release a great album of mandolin music, had a Montelone. He also wrote and composed mando music and taught up in Albany area I think?
Not sure if he's still alive. I found two tracks on Youtube, there may be more:

I met him once but that was decades ago.
PS- should add that when you're Googling, apparently there was a piano player also named Lou Martin. The mandolin player used Lou Martin as a stage name, don't know what his real name was, he's discussed here on Cafe in previous years.
It may be my "pro" status (from time-to-time, synonymous with "starving musician") that keeps me from acquiring a Monteleone, but I occasionally play a KM-DAWG at shows. I would never presume to equate it with the real deal, but likely it's as close as I'll get.
too many strings
Grisman, not Grisham…
"your posts ... very VERY opinionated ...basing your opinion/recommendations ... pot calling ...kettle... black...sarcasm...comment ...unwarranted...unnecessary...."
John Jorgenson to add to the list of great players above.
Chris Hillman plays one that sounds terrific on this cut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOjcoCAFTho
