Strings for a Clark GOM

I have a Clark GOM and Austin's recommendation for strings is .052w,.034w,.023w,.013 PB's. I am fine with these, but has anyone tried anything different? Just curious as to different ideas and results

I like nickel bronze and monel, but folks have different tastes.

I have bronze ball end mediums from Emando on my Clark. 46/34/24/13. Sounds great and doesn't seem to need a heavy G string. Haven't tried monels on the octave yet but have a set on a D18 and like them.
