Default calton from Bluegrass Mandolins, a few left at last years $

first time i've ordered from Vernie at Bluegrass Mandolins(advertises in the classifieds, Mandolin Accesssories). Swell guy, we had a really nice talk when i ordered this and he told me a couple places close to me to check out for live BG and Old Time music.

the case is really sharp and i like it a lot. he has a few left at last years pricepoint, they have increased this year. i think he had one burgandy granite with burgandy interior that has the smaller headstock area and the rest of them are the larger head stock space.

Nice case. Vernie is a super guy to deal with. I bought a case from him back in 2016. He's hard to beat on price. Seems like he always has a heck of a selection of Hoffees and Caltons.

Absolutely agree, Vernie is great to do business with. I've bought a couple of items from him over the last year, both of which were great transactions.

With respect to the prices for the "old" stock Caltons, agree, they're unbeatable. I was going to buy a used case, and there just wasn't a large enough price difference between the cases Vernie had in stock and used cases on the market to make it worth my while.

Buying from Bernie is a pleasure.
