Stradolin 1940s
This is probably- judging by the tailpiece and the appointments a low end version. The seller talks about a neck problem but that might be resolved by moving the bridge up to the correct position. I think the top and back have probably been stripped.

Took a licking and kept on picking….maybe.
I’d say the whole thing was stripped, and the top is the first one I’ve seen that looks like laminate. Also the style could be ‘50s.

It could well be 50s, all right. It also needs a nut- which would be a useful addition.

Agreed, stripped and all laminate mahogany. Also agree on it being 1950's. Seems to be when this style became more common.
