    Default Martin Style 15 mandolin

I've always liked Martin Style 15s, but this one is pretty clobbered for the price:

The reason that no one is answering this thread is that no one would pay $2500 for a Martin style 15, even if it was lot cleaner.
A style 20 might bring that much, but it would have to be in really fine condition.
This one really belongs in the "mandolin that won't get a bid or buyer" thread.

I was thinking $1,500 -- or even less -- might make it attractive to a luthier with great restoration skills.
