Lovely tune, and a great trip through beautiful Vermont, which I haven't visited since covid started. During my childhood, the hiils were populated by cattle. It never occurred to me that cattle would be few and far between, as is true elsewhere, as I grew older.
Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."
Lomax, Alan, The Land where The Blues Began, NY: Pantheon, 1993, p.14.
Beautiful composition and playing and mesmeric scenery. Thanks for posting this one.
I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order. - Eric Morecambe

Thank you Ranald. We are lucky to be in a (still) fairly rural area here in Corinth. Still lots of cattle, but the possibility of a housing development or those cows slowly disappearing is a real concern.
