I looked at the registration page, and while it's too rich for my blood, it's hardly highway robbery. It looks like an amazing experience. I would think anyone who has the means and is serious enough should really think about it.

I just sent them an email. Seems like a place where i would be in a different stratosphere than any of the people mentioned, but a unique experience the same. Checking with my wife, and we may go. When else can i hang out with these folks.
    Its not a backwards guitar.

Those prices should keep the riff raff out.

Not sure if I'm the riff, or the raff in that statement.

The page won't even load for me. Do you think it does a quick riff-raff check?

I suspect that I represent the riff raff. I'll keep buying lottery tickets. R/

I don't think I'm riff raff, I'd have to elevate my position to be there. Guess I'll wait for the reviews on the cafe.

    You riff raff are hilarious.

I would totally go to this if I didn’t have 2 young kids and lived across the country. Maybe I can tell my wife I am going out to grab some diapers and come back 5 days later?

You know, Chris could do a raffle for all of his followers here on MC and the prize could be a free (reduced) ticket.

[Reduced: meaning no coffee and no booze and you have to camp outside in the forest eating mushrooms fried with garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, thyme and home-made hash-browns, and be forced to squeeze your own orange juice and watch squirrels while chowing down (on the breakfast) before having to hike up to the seminars *]

And it would probably be won by one of us losers. Now that would be something to write about!!

    * disabled electric golf carts available.

The FB fans are asking if you have to play an instrument to go. I'm sure it will be a fine time without riff and raff.

I agree completely, although I'm not going.

It's sure not going to be a gathering of the starving musicians. I can't imagine how anyone is going to sing songs like "Blue Ridge Cabin Home" or "The Old Home Place" with a straight face.

The good news: there's a 10% discount if you register by April 15.
The bad news: no matter when you register, there is an additional 10% in taxes.

There's quite a significant discount if you have a loved one or a good enough friend or level of tolerance to share a room.

The "Bring Your Loved One" price point comes with two options, although it seems like the second would be for Bring Your Not-so-Loved One.

It's a lot of bucks --- especially if you have to add airfare and ground transportation --- but it's a lot of bang. Check out the ten other musicians shown on the Artists page and the tentative offerings shown on the Schedule page, and you'll see where the money is going (aside from the mansion and Chris's favorite barista).

The real cost is the mansion. Glen Cove is a high rent district.

When you folks said it pricy you weren’t kidding. Wow. I guess they realized that bluegrass fans are super affluent
