Trying to remember the name of a builder, possibly pacific NW, I remember primarily oval hole Fs with an original headstock design?
Thanks,
Will Kimble

Think it’s Gavin Baird, thought of it on my drive to the shop. Thanks
Gavin had a peghead with two small round "scoops", one at each top corner.
I've seen F-hole mandolins by him, not sure if ovals were predominant, but I'm pretty sure Peter Ostroushko played an oval A. Very nice mandolins.

I'll confirm that Peter Ostroushko owned an A model built by Gavin Baird.
I had one of his oval A models. Elevated fingerboard but joined at the 12th fret. It was a wonderful instrument and I had some email conversations about it with Gavin. A great guy and builder.
