Default Reliable repair near Monterey, CA?

Can anybody recommend a reliable repair person anywhere near Monterey, CA? Gryphon is so far away to be convenient.

I have had great repair experiences at Sylvan. They usually have a lot nice mandolins in stock, too. I bought my Pava there.

I have tried them. It's a long story, but I wouldn't use them again.

See my answer to dscullin. Long story which I would happily tell you offline, if you desire.

Gryphon isn't that far away from you. Drop it off, and if you like, get a nice dinner and book a room. Or leave home early and come back late.

    Yeah. I know.
But, I'd rather the convenience of somebody closer. I was going to work with Pete Hicks from Bean Creek on a couple of things, but he died recently, which was a great loss to the bluegrass community of Central CA.
