Carl Martin - Everyday I have the Blues

Thanks for that. I really enjoyed your playing. The crow gives it that je ne sais quoi.
Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."
Lomax, Alan, The Land where The Blues Began, NY: Pantheon, 1993, p.14.
Cooooooooool! Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think it is the OP who is playing but merely appreciating. Also, that is one of those Korean made no-name mandolins that flooded the US market in the 1970s. For your viewing convenience:

I would correct you if you were wrong, but I read the OP same as you, "found" being the key word.
And yes, that is some fine playing and singing there. His use of the far high reaches of the fretboard is remarkable, especially with the slide. Hitting those notes with so little room for error is quite an achievement. I wish he had done a little more with the main travelling riff, evolved it some rather than repeating it each time - though, that said, hitting it spot on each time is its own accomplishment.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Thanks Jim for updating the link. I failed to post it this way
this "low budget" mandolin does really suit well for the blues IMHO
