Salvatore Falbo was a prolific composer for mandolin orchestras in the "Golden Age" of the instrument, and his compositions remain very popular today in particular with Japanese orchestras.
Somewhat smaller in scale, this jazz age foxtrot from 1924 was written for a trio of two mandolins and guitar - it won an "honorable mention" in Il Plettro's 1924 Concourse. The score is here:
