    Default Strad-O-Lin project

This Strad-O-Lin is on sale here in Moscow, Russia for about $200 with case. Is it worthy to be restored? I has two long cracks on the top.
Really I`m going to get it just because of this vintage case to have "autentic home" for my 1916 Gibson A.

I would say yes, it is worth getting fixed. Might take a little work on the one crack as the top does not appear to be lined up, but maybe when the strings are loose it will look better.

Definitely purchase just for the case. A very good price. The lower hinge looks like it needs repair. Hopefully not a difficult thing.

You might have to pay nearly $150 to $200 in the USA for that case- so, on that basis you get a free Stradolin thrown in. The tuners are WW2 era Kluson style which would date the mandolin to the early to mid-40s. It is interesting to see the veneer that has worn off the back over time.

Thanks to all! I`ll drive tomorrow to grab her. About 50 miles away. The seller doesnt want to get it to PO, just offers local pick up.
