    Default Kelley redwood/koa F5

    Just finished setting up this mandolin. It had a redwood top from brother Ken’s stash and koa back, sides and neck. I’m really happy with this sound. Nice trebles, strong mid-range and strong bass. It will only get better. I’ll post a sound clip as soon as I can. I hope you enjoy the pictures . Thanks for looking.

    Wow! That really turned out to be a beauty Skip.
    I think that's the top I saw in your shop a while back. One heck of a powerful 'tone' even before it was attached to the body.

    I found the clip there too and yes... it does look and sound fantastic!
