    Default Neapolitan style mandolin

    Mandolino Napoletana. Tiger Myrtle and Rose Myrtle bowl, spruce top, NG Rosewood neck, Gidgee fingerboard and armrest. I think the mold is mostly accurate now, it could loose 5mm from the width but aside from that is pretty right. Next step is to make one with no oopsies.

    Monstrous sound, loud and full bodied but not raucous. Think an old shiraz…..

    If you can make an instrument with no oppsies you are a better builder than most. I’ve been at it off and on for 60 years and still haven’t made an instrument with out oopsies.
