Finally found a mandolin player to do a quick sample demo on the #enigma_doubletop_mandolin. Thanks to the talented Andrew Jed who was immediately sensitive to the strengths of the instrument.
We will make a higher quality recording in the near future, this is just the Nikon DSLR with a camera mic and no editing.
My primary goal for this instrument was to create a cleaner (than traditional) sound, better suited to arpeggiated passages as found in classical, jazz and say, old traditional music.
