    Default Farewell Trion

I recently uploaded a couple of videos of this tune to YouTube. Here's a link to my solo mandola version. Thanks for listening!

Have you seen this video of James and Carl doing it?:

They play the 3rd part kind of sparingly.

Yes, I had seen that one before, but thanks for the reminder. It's a really nice performance and was definitely worth revisiting!

This Mandola-Version sounds beautiful, I totally like the harmonies and the groove.
Hereīs my version of the tune. I tried out a second voice in the second round. Not having a video, I put in some photos to have something to look at

I reached for the Flatiron, because it layed nearer to me that day. And itīs not as much a lesser mandolin compared to the Duff than one might think.

Not to derail , and I am rather fond of the Darol Anger Version on E & A, though it is more bluegrassy than old time. Both of these are great and really celebrate the integrity of the tune.
Here's my mandocello version, lets see mandola, mandolin and mandocello, I think we may have a virtual collaboration opportunity?
Collin , Michael? Working With Frank Delorenzo on virtual collaborations we lay out a basic structure, tempo over email and then usually send a scratch track to develop the part, when ready one sends the "backing track' to the other (we kind of trade off on this), and then someone does the final mix.
heny hoo here's my mandocello solo version.
