    Default “Charmante” by Ernest-Louis Patierno

This is my arrangement of “Charmante” (Charming) composition for solo mandolin by Ernest-Louis Patierno (1863-1929)

The original version of the piece is published in the collection "Soirees Dansantes I" for solo mandolin, at the end of 19. century. In this collection, there are 20 pieces, all of them are with dedications, there are 13 pieces for the maestro's students, and there are pieces for friends, for son Louis-Ernest, for loved ones. Every time I play a piece, I wonder what has become of these people...

Very nice! Great use of hybrid picking, particularly those quick arpeggios.

Thanks David! In this place there is a comment: “Glissez la plume d’une corde à l’autre”. "Slide the pick from one string to another". I guess it's not easy to get the notes even in this way, was not in hybrid way either
