    Default Wood I.D. help

Hey folks, it's been a LONG time since posting here. Hope all are doing well. I was wondering if anybody might shoot a guess as to what this wood might be . I just picked up some scrap boards. It's fairly heavy and seems to work nice. Similar to mahogany.. The two middle boards are quartered and it's some WIDE growth !! Just curious.... will turn most of it on the lathe....

    Thanks.....

    Jim
