If it's the octave I played last November when Compton was in town, that was one nice instrument.
Congrats!
I just saw Will last weekend in Cincy & played a killer F5 he had built.
It sounded a lot more like an old Gibson, than others of his I've played.
Kimble keeps getting better! A force to be reckoned with in mando world.
On second thought, I think I played Compton's Kimble mandola. In any case, Im sure it'll be a great instrument.
Just came in from the Brown Truck, played it on my lunch and now I am hungry, it was so good I forgot to eat. WOW

I use a heavy set of strings because the scale is only 19" 15,25,35,52 this is a heavy set of mandola strings J76.
