    Thought yall would like this

I had some time to kill yesterday, so i put together a banjo uke using the neck from my crumby old Johnson and a cake pan I had lying around.

It's also fitted with a tone producer (actually the reflector from a strobe light). The twine running from the heel to the center can be used to adjust the neck angle by turning the wingnut. Patent applied for.

As for sound, well first of let me say this thing is LOUD, even my wife thought so. The tone is deep and woody with an assertive chop...

If you really want to know what it sounds like, go into the kitchen and start banging on stuff with a spoon! Or build one yourself, took me maybe an hour plus some time to fiddle with the twine, and those ukes are dimeadozen.

I always wanted to know what happened to old Johnsons. I've been think I should get myself a new one.
