The description sounds a bit strange, but just wondering what generally is used in CBOM Truss-Rods:

    - One-Way action, ie.. only to tighten in one direction
    - Two-Way action, ie... can compensate for bowing either concave or convex
    - No truss rod at all.

    Looking forward to the input.

    Thanks

because of the long necks and high tension, it is a good idea to have a truss rod in these instruments.

I've seen some debate among builders re: the relative merits of two-way vs. one-way truss rod, but not a clear consensus in favor of one or the other. As I understand it, it is extremely rare for a neck to bow backwards, given the force of the strings. The one-way and two-way rods are really just different mechanisms for adjusting in relationship to the pressure to bow concave.
