Momentarily surfacing (long story), here is, I hope, a little "gif" for your birthday, Scott.

Thank you all, very much.

Happy belated, Scott. Thanks for many (non)productive hours spent at the office.
This is as good a time as any to say thankyou for a wonderful website.
You can't see your future in a rear view mirror.
Happy Birthday Scott- I've never addressed you before, but it's a good time to say thank-you for all your hard work and vision concerning this site- THANK YOU!
Mr. Tichenor,
Happy Birthday - belated, I know ...
I hope your day was spent in good company, and in good spirits ... and perhaps even with some good spirits!
The Mandolin Cafe is - without hesitation - the best website I've ever found. It raises the bar of what a user-group can be in terms of both content and temperment. (A flame-less Newsgroup? Some said it just couldn't be done. )
Reading this group convinced me the mandolin was a good step to take. Since taking up the mandolin, and joining this group, I've undergone a personal musical renaissance; this is the high point of my musical life so far.
I clearly owe you a hearty Happy Birthday, and great big Thank You for all the work and effort!

... hey, thanks to you too DanB!
Somehow I just knew you were another Taurus -- you sweet bull-headed gentleman you.
Have the very best of birthdays, years, lifetimes, and incarnations that follow. May curiosity be your compass, and joy be your companion. Love, elen
Hey,
We're almost twins!
I was born on the 2nd. Probably the wrong year though, I'm bound to be older (1953).
