    So THAT's who bought this...

    Gotta love how the photos of the neck & headstock are just dark & blurry enough so you can't see all the obvious tool marks!

    And having looked at this in person, I'm telling you it has NO signs of having been retopped. Which would be necessary for an F2/F4 conversion, which is what the new seller is now claiming.

    "flip-it-fast" is Mitch Simpsom, who owns Universal Chevrolet in Georgia. His wife Cat has apparently started "Anderson Village Antiques" which is mostly a high volume guitar store, near as I can figure out. Mitch has been a used car dealer all of his life.

    Well to up his status a bit he does sell new cars too! Has one fine collection of mandolins and mandolin related material.
