You mean the whole signal chain all the way thru?
NB; every component counts, and the Pro sound contractor who runs and set up the whole thing and their crew , they count too..
there's a lot of work setting up big shows to sound great,
tip of the proverbial iceberg is what one sees on an individual's instrument.
lots I dont understand, computerized room acoustics control software and calibration gear for starts..

We tried the ATM350 which is the new artist series and it screamed and howled, sent it back. They are designed for loud brass and by the time you turn it up loud enough for a mandolin it's screams at all frequencies. YMMV

gail-did you try killin monitors?
interesting.... they did have some monitors on stage though.. but they probably werent up really loud.. i thought chris' looked different than the others.
