    Hello all.

I am pretty new to mandolin. Been playin for just under a year, as time and energy permit, and I have NO other musical experience. In my late 30z. Luckily, I have a great teacher, however, scheduling lesson's can sometime be hard. I have a crazy work schedule ya know.

My request is for someone to help me figure out a song I recently discovered. Rascall Flatts "Ellsworth" . I really enjoy listening to this one, and it sounds like it may be a good one for a beginner, with plenty of possibilities to practice different techniques (chord practice and some lead stuff, tremelo, crosspicking, {are those doublestops??}etc.) and grow with.

I have figured out a bit of it, but am not sure I am playing in a correct key, allthough I have figured out how the notes of the basic melody relate and it sounds right to me (???).

I can read some basic tab. Writing it, especially on a computer, would be difficult for me, but I can learn.

I know it's a lot to ask, but if someone would be willing to help get me started in the right direction with this one, I would be very appreciative. I figure between some knowledgable input here and squeezing in a lesson here and there with my teacher, I can learn this song.

PM me or post here if you can help me, please.

    Thanks
