I am trying more and more Greek tunes these days, having found inspiration from this player.

I just got my first Greek bouzouki yesterday, but had something at school last night so I couldn't even try it out! Hoping for a snow day tomorrow so I can really go at it, altho', since it's used, it REALLY needs new strings. It's nothing special, just a cheapie, to see if I can do it. I got John Demas' book too....any advice? Yvonne

    Hi Yvonne,
Be warned you will get hooked try this site, the forum is friendly and very free with help, also there are free online lessons in everything from scales to taximi.
Have fun, I'm having a ball.. also most of the zouk stuff translates to mandolin well.
