Dunlop could own the market with a simple mold change but then again, they don't realize there is a market

Bingo. it has two different sizes and a built in clipper; the best $10 I have spent lately.

How about this string winder? It works on mandolins and guitars. It has double slots to fit both sizes of machine heads. Any dealers interested in carrying these contact me.
It is heavy duty and works great.

This doesn't look any different than the full sized Dunlop that will work on a mandolin but you have to watch it to make sure it doesn't run into the other pegs. The cut down version shown in the picture is thin enough so it doesn't come into contact with the other pegs. It won't work on a guitar.

Yeah, Mike, but the slot going the other way at 90° to the big slot will keep the winder tight to the key and not let it bang into the other ones. I have a winder shaped like that. I think it's an Ovation, if I'm not mistaken.

I found a winder that works on slow speed drill. Only passing along information. It's name is called Spin Doctor, I paid $5.00 from my local music store. They have web site www.spin-doctor.com

Yes, there are two slots perpendicular to each other. One is shorter for mandolins and the other is longer for guitars. When using on a mandolin it does not bang into the other pegs.

I use the Turbotune, but instead of a drill I bought a cheap $8.00 electric screwdriver, and stuck the Turbotune on there. Works great and is lighter and safer than a drill. I've heard of people bending posts with a drill, but if you are careful that shouldn't be a problem. YMMV
