Default 4 or 5 string tenor

I'm resurrecting a 23" scale tenor project that has been on the shelf for awhile. I'm deliberating on making it a five string instead of a four. Anyone play a five? If so, what is the nut width and tuning that you use?Click image for larger version.

I use FCGDA for 5-string tenor...with the "F" a full step below an octave mandolin "G". Nut width on my electric is ~1.5 inches.
