I have a pretty good variety of Wegen picks which I really like. Do any of you use any of the heavier types they offer? I am thinking of the ones bigger than the m150 and t140. I am particularly interested in the m200,m250,and trimus 250.

I have a Trimus 250. Messege me and I'll send you one. I don't use them any more.

Four years ago, I first tried (and played with) the M100, then M150, and now M200. I like it!

I've been using the m200 for a couple years now. A music store I frequented custom ordered them at the time. Now they are a standard offer. I just keep coming back to it, on both my Weber A and my Pomeroy F. When I go back to the M150's they sound too thin. I wish I could manage to hold two picks: a M200 for the plain strings and a m150 for the wound strings to brighten them up when playing in a bar.

i used the heavier..i mean the HEAVY wegens for a few years, but for mandolin, they were a little dark sounding to me (these are the gypsy picks) - what i mean, is that a pick can be used as an instrument eq in a way - the heavier picks do produce more volume, but they cut a lot of the highs too. i'm using the CF-140 now and find it fits the mandolin perfectly

I've been using the Dunlop Big Stubby 2.0mm. How do you think this would compare to the Wegen M200? I reckon I'll know in a little while, as I just ordered a couple of them. I thought I'd try it with D'ADDARIO J75 strings on my Loar LM700-VS. How does this combination sound?
