Nolan faulkner

I just noticed this thread from last year. I understand Nolan used to play with Red Ellis. I recently bought a mandolin that Red used to own and is pictured on his "Soldier's Dream" and "The First Fall of Snow" albums (it had "Sanctified" and "Jesus Saves" in block letters on the body). I would love to find out anything I can about that mandolin, including its history before and after Red had it. Any information would be appreciated.

I have a 1976 record on Old Homestead called "The Legendry Kentucky Mandolin of N.F." I really love his playing and the sound he gets out of his Gibson Three-Point. I know there's one other album on Old Homestead with a guy named james Miller. I'm wondering if anyone, especially you folks in the Kentucky/Ohio area know anything about Nolan Faulkner.

Charlie miler is my step dad, James was/is his brother.
