    The inside truly looks like something Klaus Störtebeker would have sailed in.
    And he could have tied the sails to that massive tailpiece mount point.

    Now that you saying it, yes, there are some similarities to boat building. Maybe that's because of the builders provenance.

    Is that the trussrod screw visible on the inside shot? I've noticed there is no trussrod cover on the headstock.

    Yes, you can see the screw on the inside shot. You have to work on the trussrod from this end, if you want to.
