Ian plays mandolin in "A Christmas Song". Martin Barre and Dave Pegg also play mando although I'm not sure what Tull songs if any they play them in. I'm a big fan of Tull but now that you mention it I'd kind of like to know the answer to this question myself. Not too many I'd say. None of them are known to be great mandolin players. Just a bit here and there.

don't know if there is mando in it as havent listened in ages, but wouldn't thin ice (i think thats the name of the tune- skating away maybe the title) would sound great with mando, but doesn't everything::

Off the top of my head I'd say:
Jack Frost and the Hooded (hurdy) Crow
    Velvet Green
    Weathercock
    Greensleeved

But I'd still have to check to be sure. Ian does use his capo alot, but many of Tull's songs lend themselves nicely to a mandolin such as Salamander, Skating Away, Thick as a Brick, and Only Solitaire. Oh I could go on!!!

With Autumn coming on I like to play the riff from Benefit's "With You There to Help Me" Em-G-A-D

Try this site for the best Tull chords I've found:
