Thread: Hudson, sherwood "f" oval hole

    arrived yesterday:

    ... standard pitfalls of an inexpensive pac-rim mandolin (less than perfect finish; bridge, nut and tuners could be improved) but it sounds sweet to me - and more than anything else ... i got SCROLL!

    ... diabolical! - been tinkering with a set of flat-head pliers all evening and it still doesn't fit!

    i notice that anthony hannagan's mandolin (no rim-pac import, to be sure) is coverless as well.

    aside from the "hudson guitar company" inlay on the peghead, there's nothing to indicate who/what/why/when or where about this mandolin ... no sticker inside the sound chamber ... no serial number ... no nuttin' ...

    don't know if i should feel relieved by this lack of information or bereft.
